How you spend your days is how you spend your life

One morning, during a particularly rough patch in my life, I stumbled upon a quote from Annie Dillard that left me absolutely dumbfounded with its obvious simplicity,

“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”

The truth of these words tore me completely wide open—I couldn't hide from myself any longer—all of my destructive and harmful behaviours had been exposed.

It was time to make amends with myself, it was time to initiate change. My problems would never mend on their own, it was entirely up to me.

I knew I had to start making some positive changes in my life—I just needed to begin.

“What you do today can improve all of your tomorrows.” —Ralph Marston

Change happens one small step at a time, and so, with one small decision, I changed my entire life.

If you do something good for yourself each and every day, you'll be amazed at where you soon find yourself.

Every moment is a new beginning. Every decision makes a difference. Every moment is a fresh chance to change the direction of where your future is currently heading.

Chart a new course for your life's trajectory.

How you spend this precise moment will decide who you will soon be. Do you like what you see?

Have you struggled enough yet? Surrender to your resistance. Suffer no more!

It's never too late to begin the change you seek.
